30DaysofPython

First time I touched Python. I just wanted to see if I could learn it. The streak part didn't last, but the learning did.

The repo is still on my GitHub. Eleven commits, all on December 2, 2022, then nothing. People love to read this as a public-commitment failure — the streak that died on day one — and there’s some truth to that. But it’s also the day I first wrote real Python.

The streak ended. The skill didn’t. Within two years I was shipping Python at scale on the embedai backend. The framing matters: this wasn’t a failure to maintain a habit, it was a working name for trying something. The repo’s been archived in my head since the day after I made it, but it counts.
