BetterBot

Solo side hobby. An agent harness with one unusual rule: it gets better the more you use it. Useful, efficient, affordable.

BetterBot is my current side hobby. It is not my flagship — Gravity is the work I’m full-time on. BetterBot is the project I work on at night because I love working on it.

The principle is simple: most AI agents are stagnant — you use them and they stay roughly the same. I wanted to see if I could build one that gets better every day you use it. The whole harness is built around that idea, plus three constraints I refuse to compromise on: it has to be useful, it has to be efficient, and it has to be affordable.

It’s also where I do my AI experimentation. I keep adding features that probably shouldn’t all live in one product — transcription, meeting recordings, a curated AI-tools page. That’s on purpose. BetterBot is part product, part personal art. It’s my view of where AI is going, in code.

If somebody else finds it useful, great. If not, I’ll still use it.
